A Warmis screed system will provide the highest heat output of all systems. Furthermore, screed systems are the most cost-effective to purchase. As in most cases, the pipe loops are secured to foil faced insulation and then covered with a 65mm screed. This method effectively turns the building slab into the heat emitter.
Warmis offers a number of installing alternatives which include; a castellated panel system – this makes the installation of pipe loops a lot easier as well as ensuring equal spacing of pipes. A Low Profile system is also available. This uses a latex screed which must be installed over a solid floor. A 24-hour drying time makes this system ideal for retrofit and renovation projects. This system is also suitable for timber-framed properties where a timber upper deck forms part of the structure.
