About

Warmis have developed a range of underfloor systems to comply with Part E Building Regulations for sound absorption between floors. Although mainly used in high rise developments, the Warmis range is suitable for projects of all sizes were the need to ensure that sound and noise is not passed between floors. This may be for a large residential development or for a large multi-storey domestic property.

Warmis have taken their proven in-house acoustic products and further developed and enhanced them for underfloor heating without compromising their acoustic performance.
Acoustic CHIP 28 and CHIP 37 systems are suitable for applications over joists, the top layer of the panel is routed to accept our 12mm underfloor heating loops, when the pipework has been installed a 6mm covering of plywood or Dry ScreedPanel (whichever is most suitable) is bonded to the surface to maintain structural strength and the acoustic properties of the board.
XPS Acoustic Batten is a system suitable for Concrete or Block and Beam constructions, our routed foil-covered XPS panels are suspended between acoustic battens when pipe loops have been installed an appropriate structural deck is installed in a conventional manner.
As with all Warmis Underfloor Systems the Acoustic range is suitable for conventional heat sources and low temperature heat sources such as Ground and Air Source heat pumps.
